CREW – Christians Ready, Equipped, and Willing
CREW is all about helping teens build a strong connection with Christ, discover their identity in Him, and follow Him every day. Our goal is to create an environment where teens can be real and open as they learn timeless truths from the Bible. We encourage them to explore the Word, allowing God to reveal Himself and show His purpose for them.
CREW is a real-life community of teens where we share laughter, tears, and service experiences. Join us on Sundays at 9:30 am in the CREW room and during other CREW events and activities throughout the year.
Missionaries
As a church that was founded by a missionary church planter, supporting other missionaries for the advancement of the Gospel is part of our DNA. Here are a few Missionaries that we support currently:
Tim and Laura Compton along with their 5 daughters (Lyz, Kenzie, Maddy, Savy & Katie) serve as missionaries to Thailand with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. You can go to the website ABWE Online Giving to support their missionary work in Thailand. Their missionary ID number is 0135653. They are actively involved in changing lives in Thailand and one of those ways is through their work with the CLAY Center.
Phil and Kitty McMillen have served as missionaries with ABWE since 1981 in several capacities, both here and abroad. Phil grew up as the son of missionaries serving in the Central Africa Republic, so he was well equipped to serve. From 2010-2016, he served as Regional Administrator for West and Central Africa. At the beginning of 2017 their ministry shifted to the area of leadership training for Africa ministries. Besides leadership training upgrades for their region, they worked to develop the aviation program and started a ministry in Benin. They are currently serving in a limited capacity in their retirement years.
Michael and Claire Wood serve as missionaries with Christian Health Service Corps. You can go to the website healthservicecorps.org/donate/ to support their missionary work. Michael and Claire serve in the Philippines at the Mercy Maternity Center (MMC). Mercy Maternity Center was established in 1996. MMC has a dedicated group of midwives, nurses, doctors, and support staff whose vision is to serve mothers and babies. They provide safe, professional, competent, compassionate, and kind midwifery care to any pregnant mother and family in or around Davao City, Philippines.
Manning Brown serves as the director of the Regular Baptist Chaplaincy Ministries. His responsibilities include recruiting prospective chaplains as well as ministering to the needs of our chaplaincy families. He also communicates to churches the opportunity for outreach through military, institutional, and community service chaplaincy. Visit regularbaptistchaplaincy.org for more information on their ministry and how to give.
